〖北・極光追逐〗BA31 倫敦→香港 商務客位體驗 (食物篇)

上回座位篇

上機後,先送上了一杯 Welcome Drink。本來都不太喝酒精飲品的,不過既然英航說自己是空中酒窖獎的得獎者,也拿一杯香檳來淺嘗一下。酒的名字也沒有問到,不過是挺不錯的。

然後花了大半天的時間,終放又來的原點--哥本哈根的正上空。

 

然後就是期待已久的晚餐了。英航的商務位的餐膳是可以預先透過網上系統預訂好的,這樣可以早就知道飛機餐究竟有什麼吃,同時又不怕飛機餐派到自己的座位時派光。雖然網上都有看過一些較負面的評價,不過看到餐牌後倒是頗讓人期待的。因為竟然商務艙也有魚子醬!魚子醬這好像是頭等艙才有的食物!(雖然只有很少很少)好,先看一下餐牌。

DINNER

STARTERS
Seared curried scallops with cauliflower purée, Oscietra caviar and raisin chutney

Butternut squash carpaccio with Rosary Ash goat’s cheese, pecan and cranberry salad, pumpkin seeds and a Port, honey and sage dressing

SALAD
Fresh seasonal salad served with vinaigrette

MAIN COURSES
Seared fillet of British beef with artichoke and truffle risotto, purple sprouting broccoli, baby onions and roasted garlic jus

Chicken in XO sauce with stir-fried kai-lan in soy sauce and egg-fried rice

Egg noodles in a coconut and lemongress broth with mange-tout, pak choi and peppers

Main course salad of farro and black beans with fresh pomegrante and mint molasses dressing accompanied by warm Shetland salmon

DESSERTS
Chocolate and hazelnut délice

Cotswold Brie and Barber’s Cheddar cheese served with spiced mulled apple jelly

A selection of fruit

Tea, coffee and chocolates

晚餐後,就到處走了一下。A380上層近前排樓梯位的洗手間是極大的。

航程中的小食則沒有像國泰的新鮮熱辣麵食(說起來很懷念去程那個巨大漢堡包),只有在 Gallery 放好的一些零食。

將近抵港前的時間,就供應早餐。

Beef congee

Continental breakfast featuring Wiltshire ham, Milano salami, sliced speck, Gruyère and Cornish Yarg cheese

Hot-smoked salmon with asparagus, scrambled egg muffin and Hollandaise sauce

這份雖然稱為早餐,但是,一來供應的時間已接近中午時份,二來份量來說絕對絕對超越一份早餐,先有果汁、水果、酸乳酪和麵包,然後再來一份主菜。主菜選了 Traditional English Breakfast,說真的,我從來沒有食過 English Breakfast,在英國好,在香港也好,那個價錢是有點令人卻步的,這天在飛機上終可以一試,味道不敢說,有點偏咸,但份量來講絕對夠 traditional。一餐可以讓我下機後飽到晚上也吃不了。

最後終於抵港了

後來發現寄艙行李沒有任何商務艙的標記,我也不知道究竟是英航沒有 Priority Baggage 的制度,還是我的行李剛好沒有被標上,在機場的行李帶上等等等,等了很多件行李才出到自己的。
