Kwun Tong, located at the eastern side of Kowloon Peninsula, is one of the densely populated area in Hong Kong. There is a mixture of old industrial and residential buildings with some more recently built commercial buildings and shopping complexes.
A large urban redevelopment project is ongoing at Kwun Tong Town Centre. The old buildings will be removed and replaced with a new commercial and residential complex.
